Power on the TX press FUNC and TONE. You see KL on the display. press V/M, MHZ and H/L in this order ant three times. you now see OPEN on the display Press FUNC and TOME and the KL on the display disappear. Know your transceiver as TX possiblility from 130 Mhz to 174 Mhz your RX possibility are : 108-174 Mhz, 430-512 Mhz and 800-999 Mhz in FM and AM mode.
